In brief. We built a secret apartment in the mall. When the project was abruptly ended we were two days away from putting down wood floors, a few weeks away from a plumbing solution, and a few months away from moving in full time. We had worked on developing the apartment for four years and had slowly and intentionally started to let the mall define who we were on our path to becoming the ultimate mall citizens.

Secret Mall Apartment. The Documentary.

The Secret Mall Apartment project has been turned into a full-length award-winning documentary by executive producer Jesse Eisenberg and director Jeremy Workman. The documentary includes archival footage taken at the time of the project and interviews with all the artists involved.

Secret Mall Apartment the movie is showing in select theaters starting March 21st, 2025.
